Dash trims just pull/lever out. Try the small one on the left to get an idea. Then just disconnect start button and hvac harnesses to remove from car on the big dash piece. You can remove the vents to make it easier to wrap - just a few screws.

Great thread guys. Thank you all for linking the different wraps too.
Question: Once the trim piece is off the car, how do you wrap the vinyl around the existing wood where it meets the silver trim? It's a very small gap and looks like the silver trim is molded to the wood piece so it's hard to separate the two? Or do you just cut the vinyl with a knife and get it to 'roll under' the gap? BTW, if someone wants an extra full set of F10 or F15 or F16 trims for reasonable prices to try this project, please PM me. |
