I was told in an email from them that it's about 100 to 120 on the 50i. I'm not sure about the 35. If you email them they'll answer any of your questions. There's only 5 of them but they will get back to you, it just may not be right away.

Do you have it on your car?
I did email them asking how many different maps they even have for my car... the guy said "a lot"... thats not an answer i was looking for

I'm surprised there is no way to see the list of maps before buying the license.. or is there?

I started another thread on this but, yes, i have it on my 50i. As of now, there are 2 tunes for the 50i: "stage 1 93 octane" for no mods and "stage 2 93 octane" for high flow downpipes. I think there are quite a few more for the 35 (91 octane stage 1 & 2 and 93 octane stage 1 and 2) as they started developing for that motor awhile ago. There could be more, im not 100% sure. Shoot them an email and ask what specific tunes they have for your model and motoe.

Will do, thank you very much. And I will check your other thread on this topic.
But overall you like it and have no issues with this mod, right?

No sir. I had a bit of trouble flashing the tune but it turns out they had 10 minutes of server maintenance that happened to be during the same time i tried to flash. No one's fault. They will remote into your computer while you're connected through the OBD if there happens to be an issue

On the $299 Dinan tune, what I meant was you can take it off as its 1 plug when you go to the dealership, and then you can keep your warranty intact with just the MPPK. I think the Dinan boosts it by 3 or 4 PSI on top of the MPPK, cant remember exactly.

A little insight I learned the passed week reading on tunes on different BMW forums.

Even when you remove a piggyback, the dealer can look in the logs and see red flags of the higher than normal boost levels. So if they decided to look that deep, they can still deny warranty work. Whether the dealer even has time or would even care is a case by case type thing. I doubt most dealers would even snoop around the engine bay while doing routine maintenance.

Regarding my Racechip. It feels great. I have it at one step above the default. No jerkiness, no CEL, and it still feels natural. I won't be turning it up because 93 octane is very rare in L.A.

Update: Take it with a grain of salt. I got .6 reduction 0-60 time according to torque app. On par with what BMW claims with the MPPK.

Can you install the bootmod3 tunes on top of mppk or does it over ride the mppk tune?

Bm3 will over write the mppk. A stock n55 will only take so much... if you are looking to push it too max just do a custom bm3 tune.

Wavy, I am considering a racechip. How do you know which “step” is applicable to which configuration? Lots of info out there on JB4 but not so much on the newer RC like the GTS.

Yea BMS has been around for a long time so there's plenty of info on it.

I have the RC Ultimate but it's discontinued. r33_RGSport can help you out. He has the new RC on his car.

I think only a dealer can flash it.

They can flash it, but you still need to purchase a MPPK from BMW.

I am sure someone in the bm3 community could it as m3/4 owners can get Cs/gts tunes for their cars
