Optional equipment must-haves?

Thinking about replacing my 2014 F-150 with an off lease X5. We are towing a 5000# (loaded) travel trailer about 8-10 times a year, usually about 200 miles, sometimes over a 3000ft mountain pass.

I know I need backup camera and I want the air suspension. I think I learned the backup camera is available standalone as well as part of Driver assistance. Air suspension is in a "Dynamic Damper Control" package and in a "Dynamic Handling Package"

Anything else you'd consider must haves?

Any warning signs or features to avoid?

Thanks

Forgot about the heated steering wheel. I've been using mine a lot lately. Even in L.A.

I needed the 3rd row for my kids and their friends.

I have night vision... only used it once or twice.

hah yah. I had it in my previous car and don't think I could live without a heated steering wheel again so had to make sure the X5 had it. First world problems for sure.

What do you mean you used it once or twice???

Night vision works all the time the headlights are on, it has nothing to do with when you activate the IR image on the screen...

My absolute must-haves:
M Sport
Lighting Package
20" or 21" wheels
Driver Assistance
Driver Assistance Plus
Luxury Seating Package
Harmon Kardon

The rest, at least for me, were "nice to haves".

Head up Display and Heated Steering Wheel are my FAV features/options that I have and use daily! Love!!! Also, the LED headlights are worth it alone, just to get the front LED blinkers instead of the bulb blinkers that come with the Xenon headlights!
