Active sound and idle noise

Hi everyone, accidently posted this in F15 section so I'm reposting again

My father just picked up a 2017 X5m and I was wondering if there is a way to disable active sound by pulling a module like in my f80 and not having to code.

Also the car makes an annoying humming sound coming from the motor when idling. Does anyone else get this? It doesn't sound like a typical exhaust idle. Let me know what you guys think. thanks

Im not sure about the noise while idling but its the same process as any other bmw. Heres a thread on it. http://f15.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1230390

There are not 100 posts regarding the sound OP describes...there are almost ZERO posts about that & the very very few mentions of it have received no answers (maybe one but his was an idler pulley that I don't think is causing the one we're describing)

Anyone else have this issue on theirs? Mine's a 2016 F85 and I thought it was the turbos winding down on deceleration but it's any driving mode under 40mph when I take my foot completely off the gas. If i tap the accelerator again it immediately goes away.

You can pull a fuse or the clip in the rear but I rather just code via bimmer code or Carly cause pulling fuses or cables make me cringe.
