Oil for stage 1 BM3 f15?

2017 x5 35i. Can I use what the manual calls for? Or should I use something different?

5W-40 or 0w-40 only and I also recommend mos2 liquimolly. Each oil change. Good for cold start and rod-bearing wear. Make sure oil is LL-01 approved. Liqui Molly Leichtlauf high tech is what I use. Motul Xcess 8100 gen 2 is good as well and Mobil 1 FS European Formula. These are the only oil brands I recommend. Also Mann Filter HU816X. I'm also stage 1 bm3 for over a long time. Change it every 3-5K max.
