Just an FYI…the F15 has more than one type of headlight…you gave NO information as to which type…so if someone did know or had access to info…they would have no information/details to begin any research into the correct wiring diagrams to gather anything to post.

Just something to think about…always remember to give enough info for forum members to be helpful. A 2015 X5 ?? (What)…and what type of headlights…Adaptive LED or HID?

My vehicle is 2015 X5 xdrive35i and uses HID.
Thank you again for letting me know!

Since we don’t know what the end game is with your project…just an FYI in case you’re thinking 1960s/1970s/1980s etc when headlamps basically had 3 wires, a switch, and a fuse and or relay…this is no longer the case. Headlamps are now controlled by modules on modern cars. Hopefully the info below will help with whatever it is your attempting or seeking to do…as it describes wiring set-up and pin-out info for the 12 pin HID (xenon) headlamp socket.

Good luck with your project.
