DME Unlock
For those who’s dme was locked due to March 2019 update, have you had your dme unlocked? I know with time, new techniques have developed. Do they still require you to physically remove the dme in order to perform the unlock?
Suggestion for shops on the east coast would be greatly appreciated. |

In for this I've been waiting for a dme unlock but not sure if I want to pay ~$200-$300 to get it unlocked
Was hoping and waiting for bm3 to have a solution to this so I can start tuning but still playing the waiting game |

Again unlock exists, but people are waiting for it to be through the OBD2 port, without taking anything apart. |

Are they by the turbos or by the front grills by the intake tubes? |

They are located on the passenger side directly under the fresh air filters, close to the windshield. Remove the passenger side cover, then the cabin filter cover, you'll find the two DME's directly below the power module.
