Cold start high rpm idle to normal idle shake?
Just noticed it this weekend with the colder weather...
During the normal cold start the cars rpms shoot up to 1500-2000 for about 20 seconds before it drops back down to its normal idle at about 8-900 rpm. It happened twice this weekend where the initial drop in rpm i could feel the car shake or stumble for a split second before it would stabilize at 8-900 rpm. It feels as if the rpms dropped just a tad too low for a split second then goes back up to normal. Car drives and acts normal otherwise. Warm starts are fine as well. Wondering if this cold weather is causing the ecu settings to be slightly off and needs some time to readjust. My 2016 has about 4500 miles on the odometer if it matters... Alan

Same with me, it happens every time I do a cold start, not weather dependent either.

The rpms shooting up i know is normal. Every car does it. The part thats new for me is when it drops back down to normal idle my car shakes alittle and it didn't do this prior to this weekend.
Are you guys experiencing the shake/stumble when the rpms comes down?

Hmm, mine doesn't shake, just steadily drops to 800-900 rpm. I need to see if it's different when it's cold out, but we are still in the 90s lol
