Ban him for showing off the snow. I really miss skiing and snowboarding. Mt. Hood & Bachelor, where are you???? Long lost friends. Season passes are all but a distant memory.

Damn you Luxembourg!

Seriously though, awesome pics mate.

That's true, I guess majority X5's sold in Europe are 30d (258hp). Of course now 40e is growing ( all because of taxes, based to CO2). Also at least in Finland , X5 is available only xDrive versions, no S.

Here are some prices here in Finland ( of course X5M has all cadgets already but gives You an idea):
30d 103.000 eur
M50d 145.000 eur
40e 85.000 eur
M. 222.000 eur

Here's a shot of my X5 from a recent ski outing at Mt Bachelor....they received 15" of snow that day! It was insanity! White out conditions driving up there but skiing was pure bliss so that made up for it! Great for skiers but horrible for drivers as they say.

Later on I was driving at night in town and noticed that my headlights "looked weird"....when I stopped to look, it was because of all the ice covering the headlights. I couldn't get them off without scratching them up so I just let them melt naturally when it got warmer. LOL!

I can certify: Audi makes solid, well-made, comfortable and truly reliable.......

Well done on the BBK. Glad to see the project come together for you but that is one busy X5. Gloss black, matte black, carbon fiber, grey, red, brushed aluminum, beige interior, white exterior. A lot going on here.

Dush, you should gloss black the rest of the matte black parts (flares, skirts, bumper parts etc). I bet it would look pretty awesome and unique.

Looks like I could fit my head between that tire and fender in the 3rd picture. Why does it look so high??

Haha, yes. I jacked the rear of x5 to take the wheel off to paint rear calipers today and I took picture just after lowering it from jack lift. I guess it needed some driving to let it settle to normal height. However, it's still too damn high

This x5 is sucking money on mods like there's no tomorrow - Eibach is a must in near future

Are the front rotors drilled and the rears drilled and slotted?

Yes, it's because I first bought StopTech rotors for both front and rear and only then I decided to upgrade front calipers and hence go with F85 rotors that are drilled.

P.S. There are aftermarket F85 rotors that are drilled and slotted for front (and cheaper too), but it was too late for me - I already ordered everything and it was pain to change plans again - so ended up with what I have. Oh well...

Slapped the 18s in all their glory back on today.
What else was I to do, but make a run to DQ as everyone else retreated indoors for the night?!?
1" so far and supposedly 6"+ by morning. Proper tires maketh the F15...

Didn’t you put the summers back on recently because our weather has been so mild??

Yep. Who knew? Not a big hassle since I swap in/out myself and not have to wait in lines at Les Schwab or America's Tire. That's why my winter setups look very new by the time I sell the car. I put very few actual miles on them.

Definitely liking the look! Sporty and rugged looking with the matte black parts, reminds me of an Audi Allroad or a GLC63 AMG
