WTB: Looking for two FRONT wheels from 469 469M staggered set
Hello. I'm interested in the front wheels (275/40R20) of the 20" OEM 469 469M staggered set. I'm trying to put together a set of two fronts to replace the 469 rear wheel set that I currently have on (currently have the staggered 469 set on my 2015 X5 MSport). I want to make a set of four 469 fronts (same all around) so that I can rotate the tires (will be towing a trailer).
I'm open to buying just one, if that's all you have. I only need two total, so hopefully I can find some soon. Primarily looking for just two front wheels, and don't need tires. I will be buying new tires when I have the set up together. Thanks, Rob Annandale, VA |

you can find some sellers selling remanufactured/used wheels on ebay.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/252594575352 you going to install spacers in the rear? |

Thanks on the ebay note... been searching there, but I don't know enough to trust remanufactured/refinished or not. Is it worth the chance of having an issue?
Not planning on spacers, as I'm trying to play it safe while towing a travel trailer. I may change my tune once I see the front 469s on the rear of the M-Sport. Also, thanks on noting the other seller. I've seen the one selling a single front and single rear from the 469s. I've posted to that thread and PM'd there as well. Last resort is buy new from a dealer's online parts shop at around $730 each. That's the best I've found, and local pickup at a dealer here in the DC area. |

You can always put your current fronts on the back to see how they will look. |

Ok. In my original post, I noted that I want to be able to rotate the tires. My current staggered 469 setup won't let me do that. Here's my train of thought. In my head, I have three OEM options:
1. Stick with what I have, staggered 469. I love the look and wheels, but won't be able to rotate all 4 on a regular basis, and I'm not looking forward to increased wear on the rear tires. Surely, as you noted, it will tow just fine. 2. Go down to an OEM set of 19" (like 467s). MSport stock comes on 19" square setup. I'll be able to rotate tires. But, I don't like the look as much (especially having had 469 already). 3. PREFERRED: Find an OEM pair of 20" front 469 to put on rear. Square setup, I can rotate tires. I can keep my 469 rear wheels for the future and put them back on someday. I like the look of the wheels. Playing it safe was referring to not using aftermarket spacers and changing the geometry, especially since I'll be towing near (but safely under) the limits. Hope that makes a little sense. And, if anyone has a clean set of 469 fronts, I'm looking. Thanks, Rob |
