Thanks.

I note this refers to "Congestion Assist," which is what BMW International calls "Traffic Jam Assist" and is the autonomous steering while ACC Stop & Go is engaged. Another thread on here said that function was not coming to the USA. Is this definitive proof that it is?

^ Probably not available in North America. When checking VIN's the recent builds for North America as of Nov 8, show that the vehicles ordered with
S5ATA DRIVING ASSISTANT PLUS DRIVING ASSISTANT PLUS
do not show a separate line for 5AR ( TJA).

Maybe BMW will make yet another change. Previously 5AR was suppose to be on the F10's and F15's for Nov and Dec respectively.

Power feels strong, ride and steering are very soft like most new F chassis cars.

Tried it on a course along with the 4 series. Pretty fun to drive, especially in Sport mode the acceleration is bloody quick. Quite the stiff chassis, with pretty responsive steering, maybe not racing-responsive, a little soft, but great for driving on the road I imagine.

It had excellent traction in the rain, especially for its size. The EDC kept kicking and I didn't try without it, so it's difficult to say how it is at its limits.

When I search in this manual in the appendix, I find that the telephone system uses a different manual. It is the "User manual for Navigation, Entertainment and Communication".

Does anyone have a link to this?

I know everyone's entitled to their own opinions, but....man....this one's WAY out there. Almost reminds me of the Santa Fe comparison post I read while back.

+1 maybe the "looks a little" means that they both have 4 wheels...which is not even completely true if we consider that the Jeep comes with a spare and most X5 don't!
