New owner X5 2015 n57

Hey all just got into an F15 about 5 months ago
Coming from e90 335, f10 528i……
62k $19k
I had a buddy who previously works at BMW run my vin to see the full service/ recall history done.
1 owner oil changes every 10k 🤢
Was hoping chain was replaced under warranty, but looks like some emissions were changed including egr,
Btw some of you may qualify for the same 10yr/120k mile extension so bear that in mind..

So far im on my 2nd LiquiMoly 4600 oil change ~4500 miles , just changed fuel filter, removed run flats for Continental extreme contact

Don’t fret the 10k. You should be fine as it’s a low mileage car.

Congrats on the pickup!

Congrats! You did extremely well! If it makes you feel any better, I paid double what you did for my '18 X5d with 54k miles... However, it is loaded and an Individual build, but still... I overpaid knowing I had to have an extremely rare spec, which I was able to get...

Now share some pics!!

Yeah I agree with others, congrats. That’s a great deal and I wouldn’t worry too much about the oil change intervals. I’m far from an expert on these and also far from a mechanic but someone went to the dealer and followed the maintenance minders. Original owner probably wasn’t thrashing it super hard and now if you stick with your own maintenance program (I personally go for 5k) you should be good. The fact that they followed the recommendations is a good indicator too because that means they probably stayed up with everything suggested. Enjoy the car and drive the heck out of it. I have a 14 and we now have 133k on it and I really do enjoy it a lot.
