Arrow Rear Fog Light Coding

How do I code my rear fog light to turn on?

I already bought the switch, and had it coded in the past, but I lost the piece of paper that I wrote down the coding on and the car recently was at the dealer and the flashed the car's ecu and I lost the function.

Thanks in advance!

Mark

It is totally possible, all you need to do is buy the switch. I've had it working for 4 years already, but due to a dealer reflash, it was deactivated. I no longer know where I wrote down the coding notes so I'm kinda stuck.

Can this be done by modifying the US switch without buying a European one?

I presume the modification is similar to the one you can do on an E9X? In my case all the hardware for the switch, the cover plate/button is just installed so it won't move until two tabs are cut off.

Yes, this is what I was referring to. Anyone know if it works?

I'd be also interested to see pictures of the fogs and the light switch. I will be pulling the trigger for the switch and don't want to make a mistake.

My understanding is 2017+ you just need the switch and some coding.

2014-2016 needs tail lights as well.

Dealer can't get Euro only parts. Ebay or US companies like ECSTuning or FCP Euro are your best bet

yeah I see that also. Maybe its a manufactured location thing?

US plant = need tail lights
CAN plant = dont need tail lights

I would like to try this with my 2016 but I've been hesitant because of the tail light piece. The panic lights IMO are pointless, I'd much rather have a rear fog for crappy foggy or snowy days.

Hi guys
I recently bought a European light control with the rear fog button for my US spec f15 35ix.
I have noticed that the boards are identical visually even the numbers, where there is only 1 difference. On the European one there is also a led light for the missing button on the Us version (of course apart from the button itself).
Because of this i replaced the whole light control, and everything is working as expected (i didn't had to configure the settings above as they were already set this way).
Thr rear fog button also lights at night like the rest.

I have noticed just one problem and it is a error logged in

D90D16: Light operating unit (BEL), (LIN): wrong variant installed.
Following some findings in the forum i have tried to change the setting in the Fem_Body >LCECONFIGURATION > LCE_BEL_LIN_VAR
To BEL_FLC_NSW_NSL

But this doesn't solved the problem. Does anyone faced this and has a solution?

Thanks

I have the same error. Its logged, but does not affect any functionality, so I haven't tried to solve it
