Trunk Loading Sill Cover

The wife came back from the grocery and found the trunk loading sill cover was rattling back and forth. Found the hinge was broken the car is still under warranty and need a oil change soon. Is this part covered under warranty by any chance? TIA!!

Yes, should be covered under new car warranty, not sure about CPO.
