JNoSol , you got me to order the vinyl and going to play around with it.
Hopefully I can get it right since I don't have that much luck with doing this kind of thing.

As long as you ordered 3M 1080 film, you're good. They're super strong, easy to push bubbles out, and easy to stretch. The hardest part of the whole project is removing the parts and separating the chrome from black pieces.

I wrapped my 6GC's side grilles too.

Nice look especially with the black wheels. Man I'm so close to placing an order for a LBB X5M. Definitely within the next month or two... All these threads have me super excited!

The X5M is a beast, tons of potential. I came from an F80 M3, I do miss track weekends. I could track the X5M, but it's not the same. The X5M is much better for drag strips.

Other than that, the X5M got everything I want out of a car.

I also came from an F80 M3, which was awesome.

But the F85 is a beast. Great power and handling plus luxurious.

Quarter mile is similar with no wheel spin.
F80 got 12.1 and F85 12.3
Not bad

Nice, great time on the F80.

The Jeep SRT8 with bolt-on turbo kits are hitting low 10s and making over 1,000WHP. There's hope for the X5M to break 10s.

I actually ordered the M performance grills in black (too good of a deal to pass) but I'll wrap the fender pieces.

MMG640 you bought in Portland right? I am more than happy to pick it up from the dealership and drive it to Seattle for you.

Really, it's not an inconvenience at all =]

Maybe if I wasn't too excited, but I can't wait to drive it up!

Did you wrap your door handles gloss black too? I just did mine last night, no need to remove the chrome pieces (just cut, heat, and push them in with your finger nails). It took me 30min for all 4.

Yea, I debadged and wrap the door handle chrome piece.
Planning to wrap the rear roundel chrome piece.
Need to find time to remove it first.

The rear roundel has a camera, I'm not even going to bother messing with it. With my luck, the camera would stop working.

I'll let you know how it goes. I'll take some picture if it easy and create the DIY.
