Time to Replace Brakes and Rotors
So it's time to replace my rotors so I figured I might as well replace the brake pads also. I've been looking at the Power Stop Drilled and Slotted brake kits as a possible replacement. I called a body shop b/c seeing that I'm working on the brake it would be cool to Powder Coat my calipers. The guy at the body shop strongly advised against after market brakes and rotors.
Has anyone had problems with after market Drilled and Slotted rotors on their X5 F15? |

Couple people used power stop here:
https://f15.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1474126 Did not see any issues reported. Also mentioned here: https://f15.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...1492630&page=2 Most of the people here use Akebono pads (including myself), very happy with results. |
