Mirror Replacement Part
Morning all,
had a little bender over the weekend when parking a super tight spot does anyone know where to get the replacement part for the black circle? 2015 x5 f15 35i is it a hard diy fix? trying to fix it before the winter hits and salt adn snow get in and corrode any wiring |

A bit hard to tell by this picture if you need complete new mirror (#1 on the diagram) or just supporting ring (#3) and lower housing (#4). To me looks like just #3 and may be #4 so it would be cheap fix. |

Do the same with them to make sure you're getting the correct part...USE THE 11 DIGIT BMW PART # (that we know is correct for your model/model year/build date etc) on their website search feature. And yes, check with your local BMW dealership's Parts Department, too. Sometimes they will match or come close to what you find online if you present them with the evidence. Even if it cost a few cents more...you may come out better paying their price and local taxes versus shipping & handling charges buying online. Good luck.
