Samurai and Skyracer - I'm so freakin torn.... Excited about something different and out of my comfort zone. I'm used to getting attention but I'd rather not have the "pull me over" kind of attention.

I never really liked the Space grey color I'd had on my '13. It was just blah. The DG reminds me of the old Sterling Grey, it has more dimension than the Space, not as flat, maybe more silver tones.

I need to see how long I have before I'm locked in and can't change color. My indecision is pissing me off. I normally know exactly what I want car wise.

And a big thanks Skyracer. The side by side is perfect as I'm looking to get the black kidney grills and wheels.

aas5 - how do you have a 19 square set up? I had a set of 19s I bought for the '16 50i I had briefly but they wouldn't clear those monster front brakes on the M. I forget the style number but they were M wheels.

Agree. I had SG on my '08 X5 and it was quite dull. The DG is quite a warm shade of grey in the sunlight, with silver and gold tones coming out.

I'm with the conservatives here: for a DD, LBB would just be too showy for me. An SUV is a lot of vehicle to be painting in such a loud colour, although it is a spectacular one, no doubt. Be sure you can live with it on an extended basis.

My winter set up is with TSW Nurburgring RF wheels and Vredestein tires. I initially bought them for my 2011 X6 5.0 and was able to fit them on my 2014 X6M and 2017 X6M. I have been very happy with both the wheels and the tires.

FWIW, I really enjoy the LBB color and feel like it doesn't get dull after 1.5 years of driving the car. It may in fact be a little too much for a DD, I mostly use my car on weekends only. I think DG is also a beautiful color as my neighbour has a DG X5M. You can't go wrong with it for a DD and will enjoy it!

We're running a year apart. I had a '10 X6 50, '13 X6M, and '16 X6M.

I need to decide by Friday. I'm leaning towards changing to DG.

Always black interior. Will still black out kidney grills and side vents. Haven’t thought about finish yet on wheels. I’m sitting on the fence with wheel color. OEM Orbit grey might be ok with DG. I just hate the chrome trim.

Edit. Long day. My brain is fried. Orbit grey is winter set up. Same thought though. Might not go black wheels with DG.

I officially chickened out. Changed from LBB to DG this morning. Let the countdown to production and the daily, no, hourly status update checks begin.

I'm sure you'll be happy with your choice of exterior color. The DG is still an exclusive color, so your car will still have a unique feel to it.

I doubt you will have buyer remorse when you're being handed the key to your new toy.

Side note... my lease is ending in two months... you think your CA would be willing to extend some incentives your / my way if you refer me as another future X6M driver?

I'm honestly not feeling comfortable with Freeport and lost touch with my lease broker a while ago, so I'm shopping around for the best deal possible for '18s or '19s to hold me over for 2-3 years before the next gen X6M debuts.
