My New F15

Hello everyone,

Just picked up my new (to me) ride. A CPO 2017 X5 M-Sport 3.5i sdrive with 22.5k miles on it. The exterior color is Carbon Black Metallic and the interior is Black Dakota Leather.

Here's the vin decoder with the full list of options: https://www.mdecoder.com/decode/0w43368

So far I am loving it. I previously had a '17 340i M-Sport that I leased for 3 years which I was very happy with but I wanted something with more trunk/passenger space for my next ride.

Here's a photo I took outside the grocery store this morning. Any suggestions on what mods I should do first?

Blacked out kidney grills, front windows tinted, and some wheel spacers . Is that in Cali? I feel like I've been there before lol

Nope in South Florida! Definitely hear you on front windows tinted... planning on getting that done next week. I hadn't thought about spacers, but definitely will look into that thanks.

Congrats on your new ride!
I also upgraded to a 2017 sDrive, Nov 16 build, purchased CPO from Pembroke Pines BMW. 37k miles with a few less options. Paid 37k.
Were you in the same price range?

Congrats. Picked up very similar car 2016 for my wife in September, Sapphire not Carbon. Don't have the LED lights though. All the safety do-dad options she considered mandatory. Camera view from above pretty cool.

Since it's her car not doing any major mods. To me spacers are appearance over function, you're putting a potential failure point between tire and road. When suspension is due I'll suggest lowering a bit. Did first oil change this month, thankfully that at least is still easy.

Thanks and congrats to you on the new ride as well. I also love the camera view when pulling into parking spots! Yes I’ve been searching the forum reading about spacers. It seems 5mm front / 15mm rear is what most people opt for on MY14’s and later. Does anyone know if this would negatively affect tire wear?
