54.1 remains the best option given the changes made to PSdZData beginning with 54.2 and expanded upon in 54.3.
Thank you for the clear up.

FYI. That post has links for working NBT cafd_00000ded.caf.003_013_025 from 54.2.

Here is working NBT cafd_00000ded.caf.003_013_026 from 54.3:

No. DME is locked after 10 hours, and I think Competition Package requires an FSC Code.

Got his pictures. Not really sure if he can just buy a TPMS and code it to work.
Because TPMS themselves are the transmitter. Unless if the receiver hardware is in the car, it just won't work.
His screen saying Flat Tire Monitor (RPA), while ours says Tire Pressure Monitor (TPM).

Ah, you're right. He might need to add something to his FA and possible additional hardware, but not sure. I can't find much info on cars that don't have the Tire Pressure screen in the iDrive. shawnsheridan, any thoughts? The info I found is that he needs the RDC (US) ECU module installed, than he can add 2VB to his FA and VO Code I assume HU_NBT and DSC ecu folders?

according to this file :
http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/att...1&d=1402298236

the RDC control unit is integrated in the DSC control unit!
is there any way to check if my car does include a DSC module that will support TPMS by checking my car files in e-sys or any other way?

If your car has the DSC ECU folder under the SVT section (where you read coding data), you will have it installed. However, I want to tread lightly here and not assume anything. That would be my first place to start. You would have to ask your dealer though to be 100% sure.

Coding to "British English"

I had "Language_English_UK" coded to get the "British English" lady's voice for navigation. It seems that it makes other changes and not just what voice you would like to hear with Nav. Where is said "Satellite" it changed to saying "n.t.a. (SDARS-US)" and "Tone" changed to "Sound". In Navigation when researching destinations it had a row of "n.t.a. (SDARS-US).

I since recoded back to Language_English_US and seems to have corrected all unwanted effects. Everything seems back to normal.

Thank you for posting this . It seems like it could be country coding specific then. I'll have to test it out on mine when I get it back (maybe the next Presidency? ). Trojanlaw, can you confirm this? Thanks guys .

when you clicked on "sound" did you get the multi-band EQ? I noticed the premium systems with the EQ have "sound" instead of "tone".

I coded mine to UK English for a hot second, and it did the same thing -- SDARS instead of Satellite.

Near as I could tell, that was the only "side effect" I found.

I also did a search and it seems others report the same and are cool w/ satellite radio showing a different option in exchange for a Brit accent vs. the typical Jersey accent.

Thanks for the feedback. I don't have Satellite radio, so I might code this and see .

Since I have HK I had the EQ with "sound" or "tone". I also had some labeling issues in Navigation with the SDAR.

Because of your instructions and videos and watching you do some coding I was able to code it back to US English with no problems. Seems all the unwanted effects went away.

shawnsheridan , I am currently coding F25 X3.
I got error message that it couldn't find cafd_0000106d-013_012_013.
I believe I am on 54.2 already.

Since Bimmerpost decided to make some more website formatting changes again, youtube videos no longer work. So, to rectify this, I have put an extra space before and after the youtube links like this [ url ] youtube.com [ /url ] (the url bars don't have the spaces in them, but I had to do that to show you how you have to have the extra space in front of youtube and after com) in order for the link to show as something clickable. I hope this helps for anyone and everyone that needs videos or posts videos. Please also comment on the thread I just made in order to get some mods and admins to respond to this issue so they can fix/take care of it. I feel like no one really voices the importance of these changes at all, so I decided to because it's very inconvenient as a whole for the entire Bimmerpost community. Thank you: http://f15.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1077798

Hi Omar,

Is there a possibility to have Chinese input to be coded for iDrive? I currently only have Chinese display support, but not Chinese input.

Also I am getting my multifunction instrument panel by Tuesday next week, will bimmer-tech help me to do the remote codin? Feel so exciting for this.

By the way, how is your car progressing now? cannot wait to see that.

Many thanks!

The Chinese and other Asian country support is a bit tricky. I tried coding it with nameisjae1 for South Korea, but we were only able to partially code/show it in the Kombi. In the iDrive, it would come up as Korean only in Menu selections, but everything else was in English so it was pretty counter-productive so we ended up coding it back. I believe an FSC code would be necessary to have and get your car programmed specifically for China, but at that point you would lose the navigation for US. It's very complicated coding with no one really having proper answers on the newer models, unfortunately, and I haven't had the time to dive deeper into it.

Congrats on your 6WB. Yes, Bimmer-Tech includes the coding for free when you purchase from them, but I can also help with the process and walk you through everything myself if you need help. I've already successfully coded about 5 members' 6WBs remotely.

Car progress is slow. I'm just playing the waiting game. We'll see .

Like Omar mentioned, I think FSC code is needed for any specific language options for navigation. I am going back to the U.S in two years so I am content with using my phone for navigation. My other option is going with mirroring technology to display my phone onto my I Drive. Waiting on you Omar! LOL

I guess you don't have your ride back.....be patient brother.
