Thanks so much for your e-mail and for visiting our site. We are on track for our
original estimate, which was end of November / early December. We received notification
this morning from our manufacturer and these are headed to us via air freight and will be
arriving at our warehouse on Dec. 8th. They should be shipping later that week --
can't give an exact date simply because shipping volumes / customs / etc. are crazy
right now, so it's a little unpredictable, but the best estimate I have is that your order
should ship around December 11th.

Thanks for the business, and let us know if we can help you in the future. Countdown to
incredible bass response!

If anyone can post a DIY when they get their Ghost Bavsound subwoofers that would be really helpful! Mine are also preordered and a DIY would help save some time with the install....

I think I've read on their website that along with the order Bavsound guys include a DVD or printed instructional material on how to DIY.

I really don't understand where this thread is going. IN my opinion B&O has much much more bass then HK. I thought the bass on HK was turned off or malfunctioned on a loaner X5 I got, then drive another X6 and realized that it is working properly. Is B&O overpriced? Yes, definitely. Had BMW Individual Audio system for the previous generation X6 (E71), it was a nice sound system priced exactly in between todays HK and B&O. Is B&O better than the indiv audio system in E71? Yes.

I was lucky enough to get my hands on a 2016 X5 from a US Factory executive and it has all the options you could have including the B & O radio option.
Does anyone has a EQ: setting for better sound?

@Armen383 did you manage to install that Kenwood unit? Are you happy with it?
Sorry for being off topic.

I'm in the process of upgrading my stock stereo and looking for a good one.

From my research Kenwood is a good option. But can't make up my mind. All the reviews I've read so far are hype garbage. Actually I've tracked down a site that tells it how it is. I was eyeing the DDX9705S unit thanks to the review.

Can you tell me how bad the screen glare is? What about the price is there enough value to justify it?

I'm open for suggestions

Great minds think alike... And i had an E71 x6m with Ghost Subs... The Subs in the B&O rival the Ghost Subs hands down.. That's why BavSound doesn't offer Ghost Subs for those with the B&O option.. B&O

Here are all of my EQ, Bass and Treble settings for use in "Studio" mode.. You may wish to tweak the F to R fader to your liking.. I believe I set mine back to the middle position now.. Enjoy!

*This is my "go to" test / demo song for Bass.. Just download it or Play it via YouTube app useing my above B&O settings at 3/4 volume and you will be amazed;
