Ivory White Napa interior pics (request)..
Hi guys,
I have my new X5 on order and decided to go with Ivory napa extended leather but there's not a lot of pics on Ivory napa extended in this forum (or anywhere). I even tried to look at the BMW dealerships around my area and had zero ivory napa X5's in stock.. If one of you has this interior, can you kindly post some nice quality pics to really see what it looks like? thanks in advance! |

I saw one of these recently inside a Carbon Black X5 and thought it looked amazing.
Not for me, as I have a little kid, but it went very nicely with the dark exterior. It's essentially ivory like the name suggests, however the upper dash and doors is grey rather than black.

I would think twice before getting white... kids aside, the driver's seat on my amaro brown already got a bit dark due to the jeans.
I managed to wipe it off with no issues but I can only imagine how white would end up. |

CrEsT, have you applied any protection to your leather?
There are a number of options, though raw denim will always be an issue. I simply keep a child seat protector in the back seat which I can whip out and use when wearing denim. Most of the child seat protectors are terrible for this purpose as they have ridges and pockets. Thankfully I found a very simple, thin black protector which is not noticeable when sitting on it. Does the job perfectly however and I have zero denim marks. Similar to this but base only and black.

I have the Ivory White Package. It is stunning. I will get some pics for you. Yes, jeans are an issue, but some dye transfer remover every so often takes care of it.

I had ivory Napa in my 550. It is hands down the most beautiful interior color that BMW offers. The leather was not treated and I never left a blue jean stain on it. It wore just as well, if not better, then my wife's oyster interior.

My favorite part of the ivory Napa is that the dash and top of doors comes in a dark grey Napa with contrast stitching instead of the black Napa that the Mocha comes with. Looks real classy. Also, in my opinion the natural wood trim is the only way to go with the Ivory Napa. If you have kids get the seat back protectors since those are also Ivory where as the Ivory Dakota seat backs is black. |

If you order ivory Nappa leather here in Canada or the US, you get ivory carpets which was the deal breaker for me when I ordered an X5 last fall. I also wanted a black leather dash and that too cannot be ordered here for some reason, just the grey leather as mentioned above. Ivory carpets? Especially here in Canada. No thanks! So we are stuck with ordering ivory Dakota leather, which cannot be ordered with any leather dash according to my local BMW.

What you need to realize is that Nappa leather is smooth while Dakota is pebbled. It's much easier to wipe smooth Nappa leather than a grainy cheaper leather.
