MSRP: $63,445

Selling price: $57,000

This would probably be ordered before the April 1 price increase. Approx 10% discount.

Your take on this?
Are you a member of AARP? There is an incentive with it, but it can't be as of the last couple of weeks.

There isn't actually an age limit to join aarp. I've been a member since I was in 30's, save a bundle on flights with BA. I found reports of others in their 30s greeting the aarp discount on a BMW too.

wow, some strong deals here for purchases. Seems like people are at least getting 8% easily. Stronger dealer are 13%-15% discount range.

However, I think there's a lot more information that everyone should post b/c dealers create more incentives when you add more pieces to the transaction such as a trade or finance.

So please add whether you're also trading in a car and/or financing the purchase (through BMWFS)

Just in case anyone is thinking about a lease, BMW is discontinuing MSD's next month. I was at the dealership on Saturday and my CA mentioned it and then I found this thread on here: http://f15.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...5#post21575495

no msd's (ny doesn't allow)
was all dealer fees, first month payment, and taxes paid up front
( i saw after the fact they put it a small 314 dollar cap cost reduction to get my payment to a certain level which was fine)

but nothing out of pocket as a "downpayment"

was from a local dealership which i leased my 335 from 3 years ago.

You could. I got the same discount for almost exactly the same build.

I got a little more discount elsewhere, but when it came to do the deal suddenly there were numbers creeping back in. I walked.

Several other dealers were nowhere close to 10%.

Frankly, I'd spent enough time negotiating and looking. I'm happy with what I got - you can always do better but how much more time and effort do you put into it. I decided I had better things to do.
