Extended Warranty on 2015 49,000 miles?

So I have a 2015 X5 35i... It has 49,100 miles on it.
Should I get an extended warranty? Which ones are the best? Please send links if you think so or tell me why not.

Consensus from various other threads on the subject seems to be that it's probably worth the gamble on the 35i engine. Hold your cash and spend it on repairs "if" needed. On the diesel and 50i engines, not so much. Too expensive to repair, and too prone to break down.

Thanks, I've been waiting for an answer to this one as well.

That's worth plenty. I think some of us overthink the repair cost risk with these cars. Once it's out of warranty the repair doesn't have to happen at a BMW dealer. There are still lots of honest shops out there if you look for them, and they'll give you a reasonable price. I think some of our paranoia stems from horror stories shared on the boards here, and I just don't think my wife's driving style is nearly as abusive as some "younger" owners' might be.
