ConnectedDrive Apps Gone?

Anybody else no longer have the weather widget or Spotify? I can select weather in the connecteddrive menu, but nothing ever loads. It doesn’t show up at all in the split screen list. I also no longer have Spotify as an app option when I select my phone from the media list.

Since the day I got the X5 I have no Apps in my connect drive. I used to have the weather app in my MY14. Idrive was 4.0. I'm still learning 6.0 in the current model.

I had both working fine until a few days ago

All is well with our ‘17 F15 with iD5 (May build) as of last weekend.

Update the App as well as check www.bmw.com/update

BTW, if you are an iPhone user and have updated to iOS 11... IT SUCKS! A horrible release from Apple as it is extremely buggy. Very thankful that I did not install it on my iPhone 7, but on my iPad Air 2 it is a cluster fuck, even with 11.0.01 released this week. For iOS users I would hold off on updating until iOS 11.1 is released. FYI, Apple released the first 11.1 ‘beta’ yesterday so I would not anticipate it to be released until Thanksgiving, maybe Christmas?

No problem here. ios11 super solid for me, everything works and Bluetooth is even better than before. Might wan to reset your phone to factory setting if you are having problem, could be software setting.

ConnectedDrive works for you all? I gave up on that a long time ago.

I gave up on this as I didnt like how everytime I plugged in my iPhone or Bluetooth connected it causes the apps to launch.

Spotify came back yesterday, but still no weather widget... hopefully a server issue for BMW that gets resolved soon

Same on - I have the weather as "hotkey" and it will not load and the screen is blank.

My Spotify never came back. It doesn't even show when 2 apps merge anymore. (connected drive and Spotify) I wonder what happen!?

True under connected drive the apps menu has vanished there is nothing there don’t know whats the issue

Weather is working today so must have been a server issue on BMW side...
