Suspensio sound while passing a speed bump

Since I bought my X5M everything have been great, but I have a question, since new when you pass over a speed bump the suspension sounds like the car is resting but not tight on the suspension, so when you pass the bump you can feel like the suspension goes down while the car keeps for a second in the air and then falls into the suspension, is hard to explain but I hope some one else felt this condition as well.

That's exactly the feeling I have too, seems as if the whole front suspension has a small play that becomes evident on a steep low speed bump.

On the switch from up to down movement the suspension seems to "catch up" with the car with a small noise.

It happened from day one and it's still there unchanged at 30k miles and I can't feel any adverse behaviour on roadholding, so I just got accustomed to it.

Ok, so looks like a normal designed behavior.
