BMW X5 35i XDrive Stock Boost PSI
Quick question. What is the stock boost set to on the X5 35I? What PSI does MPPK set it to? Also, what boost PSI should you get a chargepipe or upgrade the stock components?
Back story. I'm adding the MPPK and BMS intake and MPE. Wondering should I buy a chargepipe. Thanks in advance. |

On this motor, mainly is to avoid the boost pressure to drop. Plastic pipe will expand during high boost and will lower the performance. Second, it is not well designed by BMW. Even though the failrate is not as high as the 2/3/4 series, but it will eventually fail. I know that some of you probably say that it is under warranty, but for me personally, I don?t like the hassle of being stranded and have my time wasted. When the chargepipe fail, the car just won?t run, so you will be stuck in the mercy of tow truck and BMW dealership. Just hope that it doesn?t happened when the dealership is closed.
