BMW NA One-Day Driver's School Invites?

I received a free One-Day Driver's School last month for my 2018 ED M4 cabrio ZCP. 2018 F85 order was just accepted for status 111. Have any X5M/X6M owners (lease/finance) received a One-Day Driver's School e-mail from BMW NA? It?s a $845 value which can be stacked for M driving programs; this is different from the M drivers package (7ME). Just curious if I?ll receive a 2nd invite with the F85 order, as Ibiza?s Wife is going to M driving school at Thermal while I play golf. Many F80/82/83 owners have been receiving the invite, as I searched this sub-forum and didn?t find anything:

WE?LL TEACH YOU WHAT DRIVER?S ED COULDN?T.

Dear Ibiza:

Do you want to find out if your driving skills match the elite vehicle you drive? Enroll in a class at the BMW Performance Driving School in Spartanburg, South Carolina or the greater Palm Springs area in Thermal, California. And now there are more reasons than ever to get on the track and see what you can do. Because you are such a loyal BMW customer, we invite you to enjoy our One-Day Driver's School free of charge.1 (Terms and Conditions apply.)

Once enrolled, focus on:

? Sharpening your reflexes on our wet Skid Pad
? Improving your hand-eye coordination along the Slalom course
? Finessing your agility on the Autocross track

Yea I got one with my 2017 F85. Haven't signed up yet - will probably look to do in the spring in Thermal and pay to do a more advanced course.

Received 2 of these for my recent vehicle leases ... wife and I flew to Cali and did it at the thermal club. I paid to upgrade to 1 day ///m school and wife did the free day. I hung around on her free day to compare the excercises and overall differences and similarities. The ///m school was much more engaging and of course in ///m cars. Free day was more car control where the ///m day was more track-oriented with training in braking, cornering, etc techniques

All in all well worth it for a fun day on the track

Track oriented is good. Meanwhile I have been to a 2 day skip barber open wheel class 20+ years ago and I have a PCA race license. So I may be beyond basics like threshold or trail braking, the racing line, etc. Can always use instruction to up my skill...the only way I get on the grid at the Daytona 24 is as a spectator when they let the fans on the infield.

I’d like to learn to drift and maybe make modern electronic aids work for me. Now I feel they fight me. My race car has none of it...

I used it to upgrade to the two day M school. Best value is if you use your BMW credit card to pay for M school (you get 20% off) and combine it with this certificate. I went to the track in SC and had a great time.

My invite came 9+ months after taking delivery of the car. I actually thought it was an "I'm sorry" invite...when my car went in for the break-in service, they had the car for over 4 weeks! But after seeing that others got the invite, seems like it is sort of normal? Only my 3rd BMW. Maybe they know you only buy BMWs so they already have you hooked?
