USB Port Doesn't Rapid Charge

So one of the things I really liked about the 2017 X5 was the USB port under the radio controls so I can plug in my charger cable, but for some reason it doesn't rapid charge my phone, so I've been using my Aukey cigarette charger since I bought the car. Anyone else had this issue?

Yes, very slow charge from USB port in center console

Yep, I use it just to maintain the current charging level.

that usb port is not a 2 amp output.
did your x5 not come with a usb power adapter for the 12v socket? or did my dealer just throw that in?

I use the USB port in the center console to get a better quality (wired) audio connection to the car, if you use a power adapter your phone needs to connect wirelessly via bluetooth which has poor audio quality.

Surprised they didn't change it to a 2 amp output.

That's a fancy power adapter, unfortunately they didn't give me one, though no big deal, I have a few of the Aukey ones I use for years.

The '17-'18 F15 are capable of 2.2 amps, but you may need to change coding.

My '16 F15 is not, so I use adapter as well.
