Injector removal

Does anyone know of a way to remove the injectors on a N55 without the special tool? My fried has the engine torn down to replace the valvetronic actuator and he's pressed for time to get it fixed. He doesn't have time to order the tool. Has anyone found a way to do it?

Thanks

Amazon has the slide hammer tool for next day delivery. At least next day for me in greater Ft Worth/Dallas area. Destructive removal that might make old injector not be good for a core is to use vise grips on the line connector and pry up with a screwdriver or other tool. If you have an old fuel line you can straighten it out use vise grips on the line and pry up.

You are really risking a mess by not using a tool made for the job.

We got them out. We made a tool using a few parts.
