I admit that I bought these big brakes mainly because of the looks more than the actual performance benefits. I do believe that this setup has some degree of benefits over repeated hard stops compared to the stock setup. I know this because I've had multiple chances to compare them before vs afterwards on some of my favorite roads and there were discernible benefits.

atomic80 - worth noting, I ordered the exact car (mine is a D) SG/blk, M-Sport with 20" 469's. Your pics have been helping me through the wait period as I keep clicking on refresh for my production status.

I'm happy I've been able to help, Clifton. Here are a few more pictures from yesterday's drive. I was able to put the X5 through its paces now that I've finally broken her in and let's just say that for a "big" SAV, she moves!

Regarding the M Performance Brake.
My reasoning for changing it, which it came up to be correct, I need better braking than the stock. First couple weeks of having the car (not including the 4 weeks down time due to DME failure), I felt that the brake was sufficient. But, afterward, I started to feel the weight of the car during braking, so I decided to give it a try.
And after the upgrade, now the car feel more balance. Few weeks ago, I almost missed 1 exit ramp and good thing I got the brake to stop me in time and made the exit.

And as ingenieur comment, once you love to mod, no matter what car you have, you will find a way and things to mod the car with.

Really liking what I'm see for the first time with the F15. Definitely the best version I've seen so far. Colour combo really works. I'm usually a fan of black but it doesn't really seem to work with the F15 because the black rear fins make the final line of the car seem off kilter because it's not parallel with the hoffmeister kink. With this colour you can see the real body shape is in line. Makes a huge difference IMO. The whole car seems to make more sense.

Don't know what it is about this one but I'm feeling the sleeker features working this time but also getting more of the squat wide feel of the E70 somehow than other combos.

Thumbs up !

Atomic80, nice car and nice pics.

I have a M50d on order that will look like the car below, but I have ordered M performance carbon mirrors and rear spoiler.

I am, however torn on the black grille. I have night vision, so would have to order iND parts. In some pics the original titanium grille looks better, and in some the black gloss one. Would you happen to have a similar angled photo of your car for comparison. AARGH, car confirmed for July arrival, It's a long wait and can't decide. I have changed my mind literally 10 times...

Thanks in advance.

This is the closest angle you have posted so far.

Input appreciated.

Very nice.
I think the black grill looks best.

Kip1, I personally think black goes with Space Grey best but I'll be happy to help by taking a picture of my X5 like the one you posted. I'll have to wait until the weather is nice again. Stay tuned!

It's a nice day today so I'll try to get this picture for you, Kip. And mine are from iND. I got these before I knew about the ones from BMW.
