Glacier Silver with Black M rims

So, I was just messing around on BMWUSA.com and built the following X5 35i M Sport.

I haven't seen many X5's on this forum that have this color scheme. Owners please post pictures if you have them. I think this is a really nice combination

That looks nice... add the black exhaust tips and carbon fiber lip and diffuser and I think that will look hot.

I agree. Too much Alpine/Mineral White, Black Sapphire Metallic and Space Gray. I find Glacier Silver to be a refreshing option, and I agree it looks great with darker wheels.

silver, space grey all the same grey, white, mineral white as is all the
shades of black. Nothing but boring colors now. Need to go back to
the 50, 60, and 70's where had actual options for colors and interiors

TortugaX5 Agreed! That's the colour combo I will order in the New Year for the 3D M Sport. My question is what's the best interior combo?
I was looking at Terra Dakota Leather with Fineline Pure textured wood interior trim with Pearl Chrome interior trim finishers.

Thoughts?

I don't want Black Dakota AGAIN!

I love my terra interior It's beautiful and elegant but also masculine. I have it in my alpine white 35i, now.

r00ts That was my first choice but when I selected that with the M Sport with Comfort Seats it didn't like it and reverted back to other colours. Strange!

I'm guessing you're not in the US? Here we don't have Comfort Seats, but we have Multi Contour seats, which I assume is the same.

In the US ordering guide, we can't order mocha dakota leather with multi contour seats. So it looks like the factory doesn't make that combination regardless of where you are.

Hi. Yes, in England and I think you are correct about multi contour = comfort.
My wife and I were out in SFO in April and we had a tour of Marin County from a fellow member MattBianco. Beautiful part of the world.

I saw a brand new glacier silver Msport with black 20" 469M wheels last week and I was blown away just how good it looked stock. Very clean and honestly thought it looked better than a mineral white X5.

Congrats!!!! Mine still hasn't gone into production, but changed by color to glacier silver with black rims (was space gray). I am getting a black interior...I have kids and wanted something that would be more "kid friendly".

Enjoy your new ride, and thanks for posting the pictures.

Thanks! I have kids too... 7 yr and 2 yr old. But I'm not too worried because mocha is pretty dark.

I have Mocha Nappa in mine and have a two-year old. So far, so good! That being said, the Dakota will probably be a bit "friendlier" since Nappa requires a bit more upkeep due to its smooth texture.
