I've seen two OEM 20" wheels that i'm going to try to find. Living in Pittsburgh, I prefer to have two sets. |

I think an OEM set of 20s or 21s are a good bet. Visually, they are a massive step up from 19s. Which Style are you looking at? And what do you call expensive for a set of takeoffs?

I am trying to stay with 20"s for the summer set, and would prefer black wheels. i didn't see much on this forum in the classifieds yet. |

If you start looking at wheels off the X5M, then you can easily add another $1K to that if they are 21s. Some think they're worth more than that (I have seen $5K and $6K for takeoffs), but that's absurd in my opinion. If you want them painted black, you'd have to get them done professionally which is another ~$200 per wheel. It all adds up quickly. |

Nice to see another Pittsburgher on the forums.
I have wanted to paint my wheels (20") black too. I will probably just plastidip with the gloss finish when I do decide to go that route. There are places that do it for you, so the costs shouldn't be as much as normal painting. Plus, you can then peel the plastidip off if you're not a fan. |

I'll probably Plastidip mine for a temporary black wheel set up in the spring. I would just hate to permanently paint that beautiful machine finish on the stock 20's. Show us how yours turn out! |

Second, I appreciated this thread since I'm trying to see what people are actually paying for a 22014/2015 xdrive35i. I didn't want to be the newbie that starts a new what did you pay thread (like many do on other forums of course). and a PD - I lived in Pittsburgh for a couple years in the mid 90s - great town. |
