Battery Disengaged Error
Earlier today when we turned off the car I got an error of "battery Disengaged start car".
No issues starting the car but it happened a few times today. Other than being cold there are no other factors I can think of. Has anyone come across this error. |

First I've heard of this one. Trip to the dealer might be useful.

Never heard before.
An F15 has two batteries and, as far as I know, none of us has yet understood how the two batteries are allocated by the car's software. There must be some switching and load balancing capability between the two batteries, because the manual states to charge the car batteries through the dedicated terminal in the engine compartment (rather than a cigarette lighter) to "avoid damage". This makes sense, because you need special circuitry to charge two batteries with one charger. If the dealer tells you more, please let us know! |

Probably a damaged cable of some sort, a trip to the shop may be required.

Interesting, never seen that one before. I would have the dealer check it out.
