I believe it is incorporated into the panel. I am not going to start poking holes into panels or installing command hooks in the cargo area but if one could swap out a small panel for a reasonable price it may be something to consider.

Not really sure, but it looks like they could hold the cargo net because there is one on each side.

Clever. I guess that would be for vertical installation to utilize the pouch built into the net.

'14 35i - have the hooks on both sides. Passenger side is also right next to the power outlet.

Sorry for bringing this thread back from the dead, but does anyone know the part number for the folding bag hook? Our X5 only has one in the left side. Like to add one to the right, but can't seem to find the part on realoem.

I may have found the hook. Part number 51477362164.
Shows for a 3 or 4 Series, but appears to be the same. Anyone know for sure if the hook is the same in the cars as the X5? Can't imagine it's a different size.
