Factory tow bar

Hi, I have a factory fitted 3500kg tow bar on my 2014 f15 with a 13 pin plug. I had a look inside the plug and there is a cable going into the continuous supply pin. Does anyone know is this actually fully wired up or just the provision?

I have read that on some vehicles the plug is not fully wired.

Mine is fully wired and programmed though mine is the US 4-pole and 9-pole, but nonetheless the same.

Is yours the electrically retractable tow bar, the same as in the UK?

From what I know the permanent supply isn't wired up, someone else on the forum who got an F15 at the same time as me had a long argument with BMW about as he needed it and there was nothing at the time from BMW to say the 13 pin plug wasn't fully wired up.
