Isn't like another BMW hasn't put aftermarket M bumpers on their cars. At least this is all OEM parts
Couldn't agree more it would be a sweet mod.

So for the rear I do like the factory M Sport as the center quads make the X5 look too tiny in the rear.

Agree, it’s a mystery to me why they don’t use slightly bigger end pipes on the x5m/x6m/m3/m4 and a more designed diffuser that’s integrated whit the bumper, but I guess there playing it safe I regards of how aggressive the car can look.

Well at least this way since your "saving" money you can get a Performance rear

Anyways post up links and stuff of front bumper pieces or item numbers. I may go this route too now since I was just thinking of having a custom lip made for the F15

I suspect this is one of those "Needs to look like this to be an M" things. I think they look unique on the cars, but not quite as aggressive as they could on the SUV variants. I saw a Jag F-Type with a quad exhaust while stuck in traffic yesterday.... *that* looked good... (and no, it wasn't on fire or broken down at the side of the road!)

The new mirrors are another case in point. I *love* the visibility on my E71 X6, but if we're attaching mirrors to something with the aerodynamic characteristics of a small building (F15/F16/F85/F86), they may as well increase visibility.... ;p

Agreed. The new mirrors on the M models are quite ugly (no offense). Even if they serve some "aerodynamic purpose," they don't seem worth it.

yes the quads have been a unique trademark of M since the e39 m5, and I really shouldn't complaine, the Audi guys get a fake mock up as end pipe on there RS models
it's allways so disappointing when you look at a beautiful rs5 or the "New" rs6 and when looking at the exhaust you can't belive it's true

Paicapo, the only problem is if you go for front bumper you might as well go all the way with the quad exhaust rear lol! Wouldn't look right with just front bumper in my opinion.
True, would make it look front-heavy

I agree but not too much.
I think it'll depend on the stance of the car. If you go for a raked look with coilovers, it'll definitely look front heavy but even height all around could make it look balanced out. Front will look a tad more aggressive but with a diffuser in the rear, it'll look fine IMO

i dont think either looks better. equally good looking front ends just different. f85 front will look even more balanced once they come out with some front lip options
