tire pressure monitoring system mulfunction

Few days ago I have noticed on my 2014 X5 50i that the front driver side tire got worn out at the edge. This happened due to driving with the deflated tire.
I did check the tire pressure and did the TPM system reset couple weeks ago.
For some reason tire pressure monitoring system didn't warn me about the deflated front left tire. Did anyone experienced the same malfunction of TPM system? I wonder what can be done to make sure this never happens again?

Factory wheels? They have sensors visibly installed? Should have aluminum valve stem, not rubber.
You original owner? Just making sure someone before you didn't do something funny..

Canadian cars use ABS sensors for pressure monitoring by default, TPMS with sensors is available as an option most cars don't have.

Ah ok. That's one thing I hate about browsing on mobile is that location is not listed.
I've had that abs setup on my old 5 series. It doesn't really work great if you're in city driving and turning a lot. And combine that with runflats that don't sag much(to create the smaller rolling diameter)when low on air, it's not the greatest system.

That ABS speed sensor system indeed is very bad for monitoring the tire pressure. The tire is gone. I had to replace it with a new tire.

Get the sensors - I think you can get a set for around 150CAD and find someone to enable them (or do it yourself) - no additional hardware is required on F15s.
