All season DSW tires..? Question

Sup guys,

So as I was at local wheel / tire place today putting on the wheel spacers... I nquired about the continental all season staggered tires...

The thing is these are not run flat...
So the guys in here that have them....? What happens if u get a flat? Lol

I would probably buy them too.. But I feel like I'd deff get a flat knowing my luck.

I have RFT summer tires and just purchased a set of non-RFT snow tires. Decided to purchase the BMW tire repair kit with pump at, http://www.amazon.com/BMW-Genuine-Fa.../dp/B000P5JO5M

It was one of the few kits that could actually inflate a 255/50/19 tire. I keep it in the storage compartment.

Is a BMW donut an option? Would one fit under the back storage comp.

Yes it can and it does... you just need to implement a way to keep it tied down so the tire doesn't fly around in the back.

Be prepared to spend close to $400.00 for the BMW spare, jack, wrench and foam carrier, plus add $20.00 for the tie down (keeps it's from flying around).

For my X5M winter driving setup, I ordered a set of BC Forged RS41 with Contis DWS06 (latest version). 20x10 front and 20x11 rear / 275/40/20 front and 315/35/20 rear.

My review below. I've had a few sets of Contis DWS already, I wouldn't use any other all-season. RFTs are terrible, motorist have gone w/o RFTs for years. My X5M doesn't come with RFTs, neither did my F80 M3. Just carry a can of fixalat and good air pumps for long trips. If that doesn't fix it, call road assist. We have tire pressure monitors nowadays and use high quality tires, tire blowouts are usually caused poorly inflated tires or cheap brand tires. If you run over a nail, you'll have plenty of time to drive to somewhere safe as the leak is slow.

My dealer offered all season tires in replacement for the summer tires. I chose the Continental DWS06 I would rather have the all seasons as the weather is unreliable here in New England.

He did keep the more expensive run flats and I also purchased the SpaceSaver spare with my build

Its a shame that Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 are not available in our size.

Great performance and excellent snow grip. I ran these on my M3 year round and it felt confident and safe even in snow.

The dealer probably sell those tires all the time to customers for lease returns so easy to move. As long as you got what you needed, who cares

I got a set of DWS06 last week and love them, so much quieter and smoother ride compared to the Bridgestone RFT I had one. I got the Continental repair kit with pump.
