Visual differences 50i vs 35i

Is there any visual differences between the two besides the side badge?

I feel like I'm always curious what I'm looking at passing an x5 on the road, and there is no quick way to tell.

Lol. Good one.

Or the other way to put it, the 50i will be blurry since it went away so fast.

The serious answer, no difference.

bigger brakes are clearly visible. Also, front right grille is meshed on 50i.

And badges, don't forget about badges.

That's subjective IMO. I'm happy everyday I get in my 35i. It may not be the best of the best, but I feel blessed everyday that I was able to buy one.

If you had the cool and awesome 50i, you would not need hookers, girls will just jump right into the car, whenever you stop.

You can usually tell by the exhaust tips. The round tips are always 35i/35d unless its a Msport or electric. Although lately even the 35i's are coming with the rectangular tips.

You can also tell from the exhaust note and the front grills stock is grey / titanium colors versus chrome on the 35i.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but aren’t the rectangular tips on the 35i inverted? I know the rectangular tips are actually like a trapizoid shape, on my 50i it’s slightly wider on the top where as I have seen on a 35i the wider part is on the bottom of the tip, but I could be wrong can someone post a picture of there stock rectangular tips on a 35i?

This was the best call. Here are 2 pics showing the mesh. Half open on the 50i. Closed on the 35i

Edit:
I was wrong. My apologies. There are 3 types of tips. Round, slightly squished square and larger square (M package - any model, and 50i)

There are two different "rectangular" tip versions.
M-sport version is a bit taller and narrower, and "inverted", if I'm not mistaken.
I guess I will have to go out and take a look..

You are correct. 50i and M package are same.

I never said they are the same...
If you look at the print you posted, there are two different exhaust tip styles..
Print btw, is for the 35i, single inlet to the muffler.

Here is a 50i (top) and a 35i exhaust tip. Look VERY similar:
