My apologies. I keep forgetting to correct it in the cheat sheet after @ydchoe asked me. It is IHKA2 and it is OFF_MEMORY and MEMORY_UMLUFT.

I have corrected the cheat sheet to IHKA2 and OFF_MEMORY.

This is correct. For me, OFF_MEMORY was already set to aktiv, so I just made change only to MEMORY_UMLUFT to aktiv and verified that this worked. My AC is now turned off when I start the car now.

Looking back on this list now, I think I may have missed one because I recall there being a Variant09. Will have to double check this weekend. Maybe there was another dup.
Variant 09 is a dupe of the Christmas one. Thanks for posting these.

I'm going to code everything back tomorrow, though. When I was driving home tonight I noticed that my speed limit detection in the HUD was going crazy (kept changing in heavy traffic). For a while it even said 30 on the 55mph highway. Turns out it appears that something did change with the camera, but it appears to be ultra sensitive now where it was picking up #s in license plates as new speed limits (at least from the old blue on white NYS plates). It never did that previously that I noticed.
Blinders - Have you given up on this now. I was following you closely before I tired this process on my car.

Thanks

BDC_BODY>3073 C_AFS_ENA>F015_disable to F015_enable

I did this on my 2015 X5 x35i and it worked. Operates just like the videos that I've seen on the forums here.
So since I have already coded up a bunch of other items, I was lazy and wanted to enable VLD via FDL vs VO. Are these the only two items really needing a change?
My current setting is strange, too. There is a combo value vs just the F015_ohne. How are multiple values even able to be selected? I tried using the Ctrl key, but that didn't work. I decided to not save/code the new values until I could ask the question and get confirmation here. Thanks as always.

I did my searching and it seems that is all that is necessary. The main thing that you need to happen is pick the option that makes the Werte Value for the second code to be 9C 9C 9C. @mat3333 just briefly wrote the change ohne_AFS to mit_AFS, which will give the werte code 9C 9C 9C.

Variable light distribution Yes FEM_BODY 3073 C_AFS_ENA nitch_aktiv aktiv
Variable light distribution Yes FEM_BODY 3073 LUT_FLC_FORWARDLIGHTING_Y 9C 9C B0 9C 9C 9C

Here's an F80 thread quote to confirm:

"I did not modify FA but I went back to the car and did following:

FEM_BODY 3073 C_AFS_ENA - Changed F020 disabled/F030 disabled to F030 enabled (I found that it was available)

FEM_BODY 3073 LUT_FLC_FORWARDLIGHTING_Y - Changed F020Codierwert ohne AFS, F030Codierwert ohne AFS (9C 9C B0) to F030Codierwert mit AFS which displayed 9C 9C 9C value. <---I don't remember if these were the exact names but it's something like it.

Bottom line, VLD worked."

Obviously for our purposes, FEM_BODY is BDC_Body.

Thanks for the Lightning fast and detailed response my friend. Will see if VLD lowers my angst level with the LEDs. Or maybe I'll whine even more since the lights will dance around now.

Thank You Opasha

I just wanna to say THANK YOU dear @opasha For your time, patience and everything last week when we finally code my car

Unfortunately, some code won't work until I finally retrofit my 10" NBT, but at least, now I have SPORTS DISPLAY and Memory ACC

Thanks buddy!!! You are the best!

Enrique

PS: Code via Macbook Pro with Ethernet adapter and using Parallels!

plus r33 ENET cable, of course

I should have been more clear on that. The default value for LUT_FLC_FORWARDLIGHTING lists F015, F045, F056 and i001 but when you change the value, you can only pick one. If you pick F015_mit_AFS and save the value it will save all 4 parameters as shown in the attachment using TokenMasters CAFD tool.

@LatinBimmer, great to hear that opasha was helpful. He is a world of resources and he is going to help me this weekend. Can't wait!

I also have Macbook Pro / bought cable from R33 / and using VMware for windows.

Glad that set up worked so it puts me at ease.

Thanks for the confirmation. I'm now VLD-enabled!
The minute the coding was complete, I saw the headlights start to re-calibrate, with the driver's side moving independently from the passenger side. Looking forward to driving it tomorrow night to see how it behaves.

@opasha. will you be able to add the coding that skalberti sent after comparing catflap's cafd? I think adding those makes the VLD complete.

We don't what that coding does. VLD is already complete. You're referring to Anti-Glare. We can't use those codes if the recalibration has no effect.

Yeah, I know, but those were all theorized fdl code changes. We don't know what they actually do for the anti-dazzle parameters. @skalberti, can you send those changes to @blinders and see if it changes anything for him since he was the only successful one at recalibrating his F15 so far? Thanks.

Is there a way to make it default to the last driving mode on startup instead of always starting in comfort? I went through the coding cheat sheet and couldn't find anything about it.

What about defaulting auto-hold to on?

Glad you got your messages working in your iPhone issues thread.

Unfortunately, there is no coding for the last used Mode or for automatic Auto-H.

Coding ACC

I have Active Cruise Control on my 2015 X5d. Even at the shortest distance, it leaves too much room in front of me (2-3 seconds at 75 mph/120 km/h), so I ether have people constantly cutting from the right (I live in the US where there is no lane discipline), I have to stay in the right lane behind the slower traffic, or just not use the cruise control. I see that there is a code change to change the default from 4 (the most ******* to 1 (the shortest), but is there any way to change the following distance in each of the steps? Failing that, can I just disable the ACC and go back to regular cruise control? Thanks to anyone who can help.
