Hi. I have a 2015 X5 35i M Sport, delivered April 1st. One month later I coded all I needed and it has being working perfectly. I see there is an update for my car, is it recommended to update? In the case I do, should I update my SW to code the car again? Can it be coded with the latest software updates?*

Also, during my coding I added the ability to see the miles when the transmission is disengaged or coasting miles. It shows the icon at the bottom but it is always zero. Has anyone added this? :

Thanks,

Is it possible that I screwed my LED adaptive lights up by coding different modules? I've noticed that my adaptive the don't follow the road when I turn my steering wheel left. All seems to work fine when I turn right. I haven't touched anything related to VLD or any other lights options but am wondering if the dealer blames it on me anyway

Yes, it is possible. If you are worried about it, VO Code Light Modules with original FA to restore original settings.

I'm pretty certain the lights do not turn left if you're not moving (say, testing in your driveway watching the lights against the garage door). This is a feature so that you don't blind drivers in oncoming lanes as you wait to turn.

Can someone back this theory up? Personally I think that makes sense but I'm pretty sure it wasn't the case in my 2013 F11...

EDIT: I double-checked that on the other forum and @bmh you were right - they don't turn left when the car is stopped! Thanks a lot

My X5 should be coming within the next week from the plant. I am all new to the coding thing so I was wondering if anyone in the MD/Baltimore area would do it for me?

Thanks!

Hi, does anybody knows if the process to import fsc code for mppk is the same as importing any other fsc code for nbt? I understand this fsc code is for engine and not for nbt...

MPPK E7 FSC Code is Imported into DME not NBT.

Technically, the answer is yes. But, the reality BMW might have a hard time doing so. Coding your car is different from tuning your car. You're selecting features that BMW programs into your vehicle but has not been activated.

They would have to prove the coding caused your car to malfunction. Before that, they have to prove you coded your car. You could argue that BMW set your mirrors to fold automatically by accident?

On a side note, car manufacturers are fighting to make it illegal for you to code or tune your car.....bright future

Anyone want to help remotely code VLD for me? I have to wait to code the rest of my car since I'm having the MPPK installed August 24th.
