Because my girlfriend has been bored by the Orange Ambient Light, and Blue was allready reserved by my Key

I've coded a new Ambient Light Color:

BDC_BODY -> GROUP_0_FARBE_ENSEMBLE_1 -> Default Value=orange -> New Value=weiss
BDC_BODY -> AMBIENTE_FARBE_ENSEMBLE_1_LAYER_1 -> Default Value=orange -> New Value=violett
BDC_BODY -> AMBIENTE_FARBE_ENSEMBLE_1_LAYER_2 -> Default Value=orange -> New Value=violett

Works fine!

There are other colors available...

@skalberti, shawnsheridan told me engine running is completely fine as long as you're not doing any DME changes. Also, he said all of the coding that is in r33's cheat sheet does not require much power so it's ok to code those with AC on only. Based on this, I have never had any issues coding with engine on or AC on.[/QUOTE]

Guys I have searched but cannot find a clear answer is it ok to have the engine running or not when coding?

Just out of my head I only remember "pink" & "green"

Also "iceblue", but this could be "normal" blue which is selectable thru menu as well.

There is also a code "AMBIENTE_RGB_LAUFLICHT_BEI_TUEROEFFNEN" (Ambiente lights in sequence when door is open) - but I didn't see any effect.

I try to start coding the first time today on my F15. I got to Coding step 8 to right click on BDC_BODY CAFD and select "Read coding data", but the following error shows. What did I do wrong? I'm using E-Sys version 3.26.1

BDC_BODY [40] [0P09368]

Hi All,

Is there any codes to have the headlights and foglights turn on when the car is unlocked?

I can't find my previous sheets for my X3 that had this coding. I'm curious to see if this would work on the F15.

Can I also have all the latest psd files and essays files.

In the MY2014 F15 X5, Navigation is not in the standard configuration and part of the Premium Package instead. However the 10" LCD display is part of the standard configuration. Does this mean that retrofitting Navigation in is just a matter of coding? Thanks!

Not a chance. At a Minimum, about $750 USD worth of FSC Codes would be needed, and that assumes Head Unit hardware supports Navigation. Most non-Nav car Head Units do not, although the new ENTRYNAV Head Unit does.

Front camera on?

Hi all,
Ordered my 2015 50i M-sport, should be here next week, but was lurking on the forums for about a month or so.
Have a coding question:
I see a lot of you are coding front camera to be on while driving - what is the use of that? I mean I can understand if we could record what it shows, but just to watch what's going on on a screen while driving
dont bash newb

Tried a couple of laptops same problem, so could it be the vehicle?. Its seeing the network but is throwing up a "Ethernet does not have a valid IP configuration". Thanks in advance for any help its driving me nuts. Have loaded Eysys etc. so all ready to code but cant get a network connection.

If the "Open Connection" window under "Target" is empty (no targets), verify the following:
  1. That the "psdzdata" folder is installed properly (From the PSdZData_Lite or PSdZData_Full extraction, copy the "psdzdata" folder to "C:\Data\" (i.e. "C:\Data\psdzdata")
  2. That the psdzdata chassis folders each have an empty "dist" folder. Make sure that there is an empty "dist" folder in each of the psdzdata chassis folders, and if missing, create as needed, e.g.:
    • C:\Data\psdzdata\mainseries\F001\F001_xx_xx_xxx\od x\dist
    • C:\Data\psdzdata\mainseries\F010\F010_xx_xx_xxx\od x\dist
    • C:\Data\psdzdata\mainseries\F020\F020_xx_xx_xxx\od x\dist
    • C:\Data\psdzdata\mainseries\F025\F025_xx_xx_xxx\od x\dist
    • C:\Data\psdzdata\mainseries\F056\F056_xx_xx_xxx\od x\dist
    • C:\Data\psdzdata\mainseries\I001\I001_xx_xx_xxx\od x\dist
    • C:\Data\psdzdata\mainseries\K001\K001_xx_xx_xxx\od x\dist
    • C:\Data\psdzdata\mainseries\KE01\KE01_xx_xx_xxx\od x\dist
    • C:\Data\psdzdata\mainseries\RR01\RR01_xx_xx_xxx\od x\dist
  3. The the E-Sys "Options" => "Settings" => "Directories => Data: path" is set properly (e.g. "C:\Data")

Thanks E-Sys data path is ok, but should I reload psdzdata or do I have to manually add the files you have shown me?, quick screen shot below as I seem to have nothing in those folders?. Many thanks.

What is the exact E-Sys Data path set for under E-Sys Options?
