I've been reading some of the threads here about towing I have a 2016 sDrive 35i with the third row seat which has air suspension in the rear.

Researching the possibility of adding a hitch to the back of the car and getting a small travel trailer like 20 feet or less...

Any thoughts on how effective the car is for towing and whether it's actually damaging to transmission etc ? Trailers I'd pull would be gross weight if 5000-6000 lbs.

Lots of small travel trailers in the 19 foot range that would fit my needs.

I looked up the invisihitch... I was curious if I just have to have someone install the physical hitch or if those kits include all the electrical hook ups that would connect things like lights brake controllers etc.?
