Sweet. I'll have four months to be lazy once my reflectors arrive next week.
The grille I'll install right away, but I hate PITA installs due to stupid designs.
I blame stupid design.

I've installed everything else that's shown up to my door except for that, it was the first thing iND sent to my door after I put my order in for the X5

Honestly? Until someone comes out with a full open mesh replacement, I'm going to leave mine stock. Half open/half closed is... half-arsed IMO.
Adding the 50i trim pieces helps with the overall look, but still.

IMO, you don't want the all open grill. It will expose the internal bumper support.
It is like seeing those plumber with the buttcrack shown. Not that I've seen it.

We need a custom CF replacement for the 35i's. We don't have a badass OC too show off behind them.

Also isn't there an issue with the parking distance control sensor being part of the grill?

I also noticed you debadged the xdrive35i badge. Looks a lot cleaner. Do you plan to do the same on the X5 badge in the rear?

The new open grills also has the same slot for the PDC sensor so they swap right over. To be honest after doing this i'm not so sure i would choose to do it again. The open grills do look little nicer but keep in mind that you are now viewing into a blank area behind the grill that wasn't meant to be seen unless you have some oil coolers in there etc... I would probably just do the m50D slits and call it a day if i did it over

Yes debadged all the emblems on the doors and the X5 in the back will also be coming off when i have time.

Yes seriously!

I know typically X5/X6 guys aren't really down for meets but this might be changing

Debadged the trunk as well. Looks so much better now. Never liked the badge in the back because it always looks like its crooked or something.

Wheels ordered....hopefully I will have them by the June 7th Rallye event. That would be a perfect time to have a meet. Free parking, food and festivities....plus discounts on any bmw accessory items.

What's the odds of a NY based X5 meet has to be while I'm away in Montreal for F1

Been following your mods Alan...awesome can't wait to see what wheels you're getting

Closing on a house this month killed my mods budget for a while

Living through you guys for the moment

I'm fully debadged and installed the IND black grill at the moment

Little things first for now

Alan... was trolling around x5 forum as it could be an option for my wife's next car. Noticed you moved on from the F10. You know there are dual slat grills for the f15? Wasn't sure if you were aware of this... otherwise, looking good per usual.

Yeah I noticed them before RGSport had them but I had already ordered the oem ones already. I didn't want to be the guinea pig to try them first and end up with poor fitment.

Front lip looks great. Considering how your F10's turned out, I am not surprised at how amazing this car looks.

Thanks everyone. I'll admit that the the mod bug has got me hard on this one. Once you start it hard to stop until I feel like its "complete"

Waiting on the 22" to arrive from europe and I just ordered the M Performance side skirt decal. I was really against this at first since i never liked it on the F10 but i feel like with the front and rear carbon pieces the side decal ties it all together. If i didn't have the rear flaps on the sides then I wouldn't have gotten this but with them I think they make everything work.

I also decided to cancel the ACS exhaust order. I originally ordered it before I had the X5 but after seeing the stock tips in person I actually do prefer them over anything else. The shape of them just works with all of the body lines better than the ACS unit. I may end up with the M Performance exhaust down the line and just get the tips painted gloss black instead. Not in a rush to do this since I feel like the N55 soundtrack is very good already. Not sure if its has anything to do with the MPPK or what because i never thought my F10 with the N55 prior sounded like this.

In the meantime here is a shot of the rear. Don't mind the cheesy iPhone 6 pics. I will do a legit photoshoot once everything is done.

BTW I'm anal about things so I also have a new custom plate coming so that it works with the X5

Your F15 is looking really good Alan. Can you provide more details on the 22" you ordered? Also, will you be keeping the stock brake kit or upgrading to a BBK when the 22s are installed?

X5 looks great!
I'm considering ordering the Front lip, and rear diffusser/spiltters.
Correct me if I'm wrong but are these parts just bolted into existing holes underneath the car? In conjunction with 3M tape?
A simple at home DIY?

Mine is SG so im wondering if the CF will get washed out since there's not as much contrast as with your MW.

There goes that mod budget!
Your car looks amazing already.

M performance muffler sounds great! You could also just custom tips made in the future since they seems to be clamped on....
