Annual oil change qns
Got notification in my car that it's due for oil change. Due date is showing in vehicle status exactly after 1 year when I took delivery (01/16). Got the call and email from dealer as well. They got the notification from the car.
Should I still take it for oil change even though it's under 9k after one year? Current miles on it 4k. TIA! |

Yes indeed. Old school BMW maintenance recommends minimum of annual oil change regardless of mileage accrued since previous.

Yeah, same with almost every other car manufacturer I think. Certain mileage or once a year.

Personally I do my changes around 5000 miles anyways, so in my book you would be almost due for maintenance

They should be checking everything without you having to ask. Also should be getting new wipers.
