Transmission Issue?

I have experienced an issue that keeps popping up. The vehicle is throwing no codes but when I accelerate the car, it feels like the transmission is grabbing. It's a weird feeling but that's about as best as I can describe it. My warranty expires in April so this will be resolved by then. Just wondered if anyone else has experienced this issue?

What does it mean when a transmission grabs? Lag?

No not a lag but it seems like a slight engine miss but it's not. It won't do it any other time unless you accelerate. It's just a weird feeling.

Now, that is getting me worrying. I had a friend who had his 50i transmission replaced, make sure to arrange that before the warranty expires. This thing is crazy expensive to replace.

That's what I'm afraid of. Was just in it and it happened again same thing. When I was pulling (accelerating) you can feel it almost like a slight engine miss but it's not. I wish I could describe it better. It won't do it under full throttle, just when you are pulling.

many times a cylinder firing issues is thought of as a transmission issue. what are your RPMs doing when it "slips"?

its an easy diagnostic to figure out if its electrical or trannie.

anywhere between 2500 to 4000 during a pull only. It will not do anything during full throttle or highway cruising. If it was a misfire or electrical wouldn't it throw a code? There were no codes registered at all. I guess that "slips" is a good way of describing my issue.
