OEM wheels are not going to be "cheap" anywhere. As suggested above, classifieds might be your best bet, or new replicas for something cheaper.

If you've already tried Craigslist, eBay and the classifieds of this forum (or the other BMW forums), then I suggest the following: find an X5 that is for sale locally, and call up the dealership and see if they'd be interested in swapping out the wheels for you. Depending on which wheels you have on your today, they might be willing to let you buy the 451s in exchange for cash plus your wheels.

This wheel was actually very popular for the E70 chassis. You could also check that forum for availability too.

Cheapest is still going to be on the used market. You might need to give it a few years for supply to come on line if you're looking for a "deal".
Remember the used market for wheels are for cars that are owned outright not leased. Most X5s are leased, so 2014s are just coming off lease. No lessee (2015, 2016) is going to sell his OEM wheels to you if he has to return the car. So most of your supply today is from preowned 2014 owners, so it's not a lot out there. Makes sense? Point of reference. the E70 (2008-2013) wheels market, even back in 2015, it wasn't that great, today, almost all cars are off lease, and market is flush with all types OE wheels. Today, I can get 18s for a pack of gum, and 20s for under $1000. Hell, I am starting to see E70 20's on E53 X5s as they've come down so much in price.

My issues with Reps is that I don't know if I can trust it will hold up to the weight of our SUV's and if it will crack on the first minor pothole I hit. Good news is that its cheap to replace them, but not sure if I want to risk my family and my life with them. With that said...
This would be my choice of aftermarket wheels

Will an E70 wheel fit on a F15? I thought I read somewhere on this forum that the bolt pattern was slightly different between the two and they wouldn't fit.

Just to add on eBay searching, don't be scared to try the European, Asian eBay sites. I have had success using the German, English and Chinese versions then running the adds through google translate. As stated above - eBay is a treasure trove if you are patient enough to wade through the junk. Sorry, don't mean to thread jack

http://f15.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...postcount=3413 Your eBay link claims to be 451 replicas, but if you look closely they seem to be more like these Opti wheels. |
