It seems to be more responsive when using a phone now to configure.

I like it. Looks much better than the old one.

same... it appears it is geared for mobile use more than anything else but i did notice the f31 heavily optioned dropped in price by $2100... curious if this is an error or the price was adjusted by bmwusa.

I guess I just prefer to use a full sized monitor than play around on phone. Old version seemed more streamlined. The new layout looks similar to some EU sites.

I think there are bugs in the configurator because if you choose some options, some other ones that do not conflict get unchosen and you need to check them again.

i prefer full size screen as well.
try audi's site. it is horrible even on a large screen.

i noticed, i would click cold weather package and it would delete m-sport. i had to go back several times and make sure all the options were selected and configured as before. came up $2100 less. hoping that's the case but probably just a glitch in tabulating option/feature prices.

BMW and Mercedes by far have the best building sites. Audi is not responsive and Porsche is just all over the place with options.

Hahaha... I haven't been on the Porsche site in a while but it is like a Sushi Menu. Everything is a la carte and your vehicle goes from x to x+$18k in just a few clicks.

I do not shop for vehicles modeled after fish or aliens that look better with front plate:

I am more than a little biased.

I was looking at Cayenne S and a few clicks I'm looking at price of GTS... and a few more, a Turbo... and finally the average price of an home.

You get a better chance to shop by going to the dealership instead lol. It's so crazy the amount of things they have as stand alone options. Unless you don't care for pricing and tick everything. It really overwhelms potential customers.

Thank you for saying that!

I thought I was the only one who thought this new style was a mess. It's so bad, you can't even use it.
