Installing aftermarket subwoofer

Has anyone tried installing an aftermarket subwoofer in our cars. I mean in the back compartment area not underseat replacement. I have a JL w7 12 and JL amp in almost brand new condition from my previous car I'm thinking about installing.

I had one installed. Made a huge difference with my HK audio. 600W Alpine amp and a sealed JL 10" sub.

Did you install it the rear storage under the floor or just on top?
